Tunnel Vision — French premiere, Q&A and a Traintrax DJ set

Some graffiti is about style; some is about the few minutes before the police arrive. Tunnel Vision, the documentary by Swedish director Lukas Wigardt, follows Rolex, a hardcore bomber from the Stockholm scene devoted to a rare and nearly lost discipline: painting the city’s most inaccessible inner-city subway stations, knowing that transit security is on its way the moment he steps onto the platform. Three to five minutes, no stress, total focus — graffiti as an act of self-realisation and freedom. Le Grand Jeu and Le Consulat present the film’s French premiere, followed by a Q&A with the director.
Music has always been part of graffiti film, and Tunnel Vision is no exception: its soundtrack is by Traintrax, the duo of Woesum and Stacey. After the Q&A, the night continues with a DJ set by Stacey, Stockholm-based producer and DJ blending hip-hop and ambient (RealYungPhil, Jaeychino, Gud, Woesum), while unreleased footage shot during years of filming graffiti missions keeps rolling on the big screen. Prints from the film will be on sale on site.
