B.C.E. 2026 — Surf, skate and snow in print at the Casino de Biarritz
From 21 to 25 October, Le Grand Jeu leaves the passage de Ménilmontant for Biarritz. We’ll be a partner of the third Board Culture Exposure, the international photography contest devoted to skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding. The main show at the Casino Municipal brings together 32 photographers across five categories: skate, surf, snow, lifestyle and reportage. Satellite exhibitions run in cultural venues around town.
On site, we’ll run a bookstand with books, exhibition catalogues and zines on surf, skate and snow culture. It’s a wide selection, with few copies of each title. The logic is the one we apply to graffiti. Board cultures have produced their own images, and their own ways of printing and circulating them, and those deserve to be read as a history in their own right.
