Oreall Pop-Up — Bathroom Problems in Paris
On Saturday, 3 October, Le Grand Jeu hands the shop over to the rapper Oreall for a one-day pop-up. It’s his first time meeting his Paris audience in person, and the format is deliberately simple. Come by, talk, listen, and leave with a piece of the project. On the table: his CD Bathroom Problems, a run of T-shirts, and the last copies of Sous Press’ fanzines.
We see this kind of event as part of what an independent bookshop is for. Rap culture has always travelled through small formats: self-released CDs, merch pressed in short runs, photocopied zines. Oreall’s label, Bigzindustrie, runs the stand from start to finish. We provide the room and the audience.
