Silly Little Projects Vol. II — D.I.Y. Trying

Some objects are impossible to throw away and useless to keep. A ticket stub, a broken earring, a key to a door that no longer exists.
That is where Alisa Cayoo starts. The Paris-based designer builds one-of-a-kind chains out of found and sentimental objects — the name comes from cailloux, the pebbles you pick up and pocket without knowing why. She joins Silly Little Projects, the London magazine founded by Lucy Murrey, for an afternoon of collective chain-making at the shop.
Bring your own objects, charms or tiny treasures — or pick from the collection on the table — and turn them into a keychain or bag charm that is yours alone. Materials and wine are provided.
The session also marks the arrival of Silly Little Projects Vol. II: D.I.Y. TRYING, a DIY-couture catalogue and activity book that argues, in an age of passive scrolling, that trying too hard is worth defending. Places are limited and booking is required.
