Wazo – Pour Tout L’Or de Brest

Drifting through squats, punk gigs, courtrooms and factory shifts, Wazo delivers a raw, fast-paced memoir of life on the margins in 1990s Brest — a city as gritty as it is poetic. In Pour tout l’or de Brest, he recounts his wild youth as a “clown, delinquent and tightrope walker,” caught between rebellion and survival, with a sharp sense of humor and deep love for his city and its misfits.

Neither bitter nor nostalgic, Wazo offers a lucid, often hilarious account of personal chaos and collective struggle, carried by the pulse of a generation that refused to play by the rules.

To mark the release, we’re hosting Wazo and the team from Éditions La Jouanie for an evening of stories, conversation, and signed books — straight from the docks of Brest to the shelves of Paris.
