Shadows – Where the City Fades

Some cities reveal themselves only when you slow down. In Shadows, Axel Corjon, designer of the project Fonts Ninja, walks through Seoul for hours, hip-hop in his headphones, letting the city unfold in silence. Between vast avenues and quiet alleys, Seoul appears as a place of contrast and fragile balance, where light, movement, and chance briefly align.

The book is built on instinct rather than intention. Corjon does not document the city as it is, but distills fleeting moments where shadows, reflections, and passing figures hover between presence and disappearance.

The evening marks the launch of Shadows and is accompanied by a photographic exhibition presenting a selection of images from the book. An intimate moment to discover Axel Corjon’s visual journey through Seoul, in close connection with the bookstore.
