Rencontres Urbaines de Nancy
02 avril - 12 avril

Get ready for a bold new edition of RUN – the Rencontres Urbaines de Nancy – where street culture takes center stage! This immersive festival blends music, art, dance, sport, fashion, and street food into one electrifying experience.
From breakdance battles to graffiti exhibitions, BMX stunts to skate sessions, RUN breaks down the barriers between genres and celebrates everything hybrid, wild, and wonderfully unclassifiable. Is breakdance a sport or an art? Is graffiti made for the streets or museum walls? The answer: yes.
Highlights include “Aérosol, a History of Graffiti”, a major museum show tracing the spray can’s rise as a tool of rebellion and expression from the 60s to the mid-80s, and FREEZE, a one-off street sculpture project by Lor-K made entirely from urban waste.
There’s also a pro day on urban art curation (because yes, street culture can also wear a tie), and the return of the iconic Rap Contenders with their raw, no-mic street battles scouting tomorrow’s MCs.
Mark your calendars – RUN is where the street meets the spotlight.
