OX — Reworking the Image

A key figure in French urban art, OX has developed over four decades a distinctive practice rooted in the poetic reappropriation of advertising panels and public space. His work moves between modernist references, popular imagery, and commercial visuals, creating a dialogue that shifts constantly between irony, minimalism, and experimentation.

For the first time, more than one hundred studio works are gathered in connection with the exhibition in Nancy, offering a broader look at the evolution of his visual language. This presentation highlights the influences and research that have shaped his practice, and opens a space for discussion around the exhibition and its accompanying publication.
