KTAGS: Graffiti Beneath Paris

Beneath the surface of Paris lies another history of graffiti. In the silence of the catacombs, thousands of signatures, messages, and silent shouts have covered the underground walls — far from museums, far from sight. KTAGS dives into this hidden world to reveal nearly three decades of tags documented in the Paris catacombs.

The result of almost thirty years of photographic work by Marc-Aurèle Vecchione, this book gathers a unique archive of a buried memory. With a contribution from Frédéric Braun, KTAGS unveils the secret side of Parisian graffiti — its codes, its rituals, and its uncompromising freedom.

On November 27, Marc-Aurèle Vecchione and Frédéric Braun will be at Le Grand Jeu to present the book and share this exceptional photographic and human journey — a rare testimony to the most underground side of graffiti culture.
