We’re excited to announce the official launch of J’irai graffer chez vous by Disek, published by Éditions Alternatives, and to invite you to celebrate this release with us.
A globetrotting graffiti artist, Disek has spent the past ten years traveling the world in search of walls to leave his mark on. This journey has been a transformative experience, changing both the way he paints and the way he travels. Today, he says, he no longer paints to “kill” the street, but to bring it to life.
The idea for this book came to him during an unexpected stop in Colombia, caused by a health issue: “I was looking at photos of my pieces and realized I had at least one interesting story behind each of them. I wanted to share those special moments I spent with people, many of whom I couldn’t even speak the language with.”
In addition to the book, you can also follow Disek as he paints, meets locals, and explores cities and landscapes on his YouTube channel, inspired by Antoine de Maximy’s show J’irai dormir chez vous.
