From August 30th to September 9th, 2016, Le Grand Jeu was invited to take part in the curatorial team of the Artmossphere Street Art Biennale in Moscow, the leading Russian platform dedicated to contemporary urban creativity. The 2016 edition brought together an exceptionally diverse roster of artists, transforming the city into a meeting point for different aesthetics, practices, and interpretations of street culture.
Under our direction, artists such as Demsky, Galo, Rub Kandy, Sozyone Gonzalez and The London Police joined nearly one hundred participants from Russia and across the globe. Together, they worked within the monumental spaces of the Moscow Манеж, just steps away from Red Square, where they developed immersive installations specifically conceived for the biennale. Their contributions became part of a vast collective narrative, one that reflected both the evolution of street art and its growing relevance within contemporary visual culture.
